Penrith Lakes Weir 3

Civil Certification provided engineering inspection and accredited certifying services for the Penrith Lakes Development Corporation (PLDC) during construction of a large flood mitigation weir adjoining the Nepean River as part of the Penrith Lakes development site.

The project was valued at $11 million dollars and involved construction of a 420m long, 7m high stepped weir to safely convey flood waters from the Nepean River to the Main Lakes of the development site.
