Cobaki Central Open Space (Tweed Shire)

Civil Certification was engaged by Leda Development as the subdivision stage Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) for a future 500ha residential site located immediately to the south of the NSW/Queensland border.

Planning approval was granted by the NSW Government for the 1st stage of the development in February 2011, which included staged bulk earthworks to create a central open corridor, road forming works, culverts, rehabilitation of saltmarsh and establishment of a freshwater wetland and fauna corridors.

Our work involved liaison with the approval authority, local Council and nearby residents, issue of Construction Certificates, supervision of work and responding to noise/dust complaints.
